The release also means that RHEL 7 now enters Maintenance Support 2, during which Red Hat-defined Critical and Important impact Security Advisories and selected Urgent Priority Bug Fix Advisories may be released as they become available. Red Hat also stated that RHEL 7.0 is not an Extended Update Support release. Thus, it provides the same level of maintenance as EUS until the end of maintenance for RHEL 7 on June 30, 2024.
