One of the most useful features of the pfsense firewall is the Openvpn service, through which you can enter your firewall network. The openvpn service can be easily installed on pfsense. In this tutorial, we will show you how to download the profile installation file after installing and activating openvpn.
After installing this file on your system (desktop or mobile) connect to your pfsense network via openvpn. This installation file can be used for Windows, Android, and Mac OS clients.
1. First we enter the web dashboard or pfsense GUI.
2. From the top menu, select the: VPN >> OpenVPN
3. On this page, click on the “Client Export” tab.
4. When the “Client export page” opens for you. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Find the “OpenVPN Clients” option as shown below.
A: For Newer Windows System, download “Current Windows Installer” (64 or 32 bit depending on your system)
B: For the old windows system (XP), download “Legacy Windows installer“.
C: For Mac, Download “Viscosity Inline Config“.
